This Saturday, May 15, from noon to 2:00pm, the Downtown Alliance is organizing a community event to “plant new flowers and spruce up Elizabeth H. Berger Plaza.” At the Washington Street Historical Society, we are quite fond of this small park (named after the energetic advocate for Downtown) since it hosts several plaques and a sign related to the neighborhood’s history. We encourage our friends to stop by and help out, and we thank the Downtown Alliance for opening this up to all!
